The waterfall depends on seasonal rainfall and may be dry outside the green season, so it cannot be guaranteed year-round.   Drive or Ride Along ATV drivers must be at least 16 years old. Passenger options are available, allowing eligible guests who aren't driving to experience the mountain adventure from a two-person ATV. Our ATVs can carry a maximum combined weight of 800 lbs for the driver and passenger. Professional guides lead the tour, and required ATV safety equipment is provided before heading onto the trails. No driver's license is required, although bringing identification is recommended. And a count of 930 species observed in Costa Rica, one of the highest such counts for any country. Many birding groups have identified over 100 species in a single day's outing in various Costa Rican locations; 150-specie days have been reported. In the midst of the rainforest exists one of the most photographed waterfalls in the world. “Los Teñideros” lies at the end of one of the most beautiful rivers of Costa Rica: the Rio Celeste. Los Teñideros is located where two streams of crystalline water merge into one.
