Start your experience on a 400cc ATV and choose the route that best matches how you want to explore Guanacaste.
 

Select the Mountain ATV Tour for an off-road adventure through forest and mountain trails, changing terrain and small river crossings. During Costa Rica's rainy season, the route may also include our seasonal waterfall, depending on rainfall and trail conditions.

Or choose the Beach ATV Tour and follow backroads and coastal trails toward the Zapotal and Matapalo beach area. Experience the changing landscape as you travel toward the Pacific, including a short beach stop before continuing your adventure.
 

Explore Guanacaste on a 400cc ATV

Whichever route you choose, your guide leads the way as you leave the main roads behind and experience another side of Guanacaste.

Keep your eyes open along the route for birds, monkeys, iguanas and other wildlife that may be present in the surrounding habitat. Wildlife sightings occur naturally and cannot be guaranteed.

Professional guides lead the tour, and required ATV safety equipment is provided before you head onto the trails.

After your ATV adventure, trade four wheels for four hooves and continue with a guided horseback ride through the Guanacaste countryside.

The horseback portion is designed as a calm guided trail ride rather than a high-speed or galloping experience, making it an enjoyable way to slow down after your ATV adventure.
 

Two Ways to Explore the Guanacaste Countryside

This combo brings together the excitement of a 400cc ATV with the relaxed pace of horseback riding, giving you two very different experiences in approximately four hours.

ATV drivers must be at least 16 years old, with passenger options available for eligible guests.

Children ages 3 and older can participate in horseback riding, with younger children riding with a parent when appropriate. The maximum horseback riding weight is 200 lbs per rider.

Professional guides accompany both activities, and required ATV safety equipment is provided.
