Our certified naturalist guides can take you to great areas to add to your bird count. Central America, in general, and Costa Rica, in particular, are in a privileged geographical position, making the region a planetary birding paradise.    Costa Rica has 12 of the planet’s 18 different life zones and a wide range of micro-climates. And a count of 930 species observed in Costa Rica, one of the highest such counts for any country. Many birding groups have identified over 100 species in a single day's outing in various Costa Rican locations; 150-specie days have been reported. Some highlights are Quetzals, Macaws, Toucans, Tanagers, Eagles, aquatic birds, hummingbirds and Manakins.

Your adventure begins with a thrilling rafting experience. We offer class II and III rafting depending on the condition of the river and weather in the mountains in the Rincón de la Vieja volcano. The recommended outfit for this trip is shorts or a bathing suit, water shoes, and a t-shirt. Next soar through the air on our canopy zip line, which has a total of 9 cables and 17 platforms that crisscross the canyon of the Colorado River.   Once you are done zip-lining enjoy the adrenaline rush of rappelling down the natural stone wall, which is about 20 mts. In the midst of the rainforest exists one of the most photographed waterfalls in the world. “Los Teñideros” lies at the end of one of the most beautiful rivers of Costa Rica: the Rio Celeste. Los Teñideros is located where two streams of crystalline water merge into one. The mix between the minerals of the river and the minerals from the volcano crater create the famous celestial blue hue that gives the river its name when the sunlight reflects off of the high mineral content of the waters. It is within the composition of the water which contains the colloidal silica that is reflected off the sunlight and fool the human eye by returning an image of turquoise blue suspended in the water. The Rio Celeste waterfall has been recognized as one of the seven natural wonders of Costa Rica - a must see when in Guanacaste.
