Come join us a paddling adventure enjoying the spectacular views of the beautiful mangrove in Tamarindo. Start in the flat waters of the old marina heading out west bordering a forested coastline in which you can see brown pelicans, brown booby, magnificent frigate birds and neotropical cormorants. This tour gives you the unique opportunity to observe the wildlife of the estuary. While you kayak through the estuary you’ll be able to experience iguanas, crocodiles and lots of different species of wading birds up close. If you look up from the water you will be able to see howler monkeys, raccoons and other exotic animals in the treetops above. Make sure to wear sandals, light clothes and sunblock.
We will meet our guide at the ranger station at Tamarindo Estuary protected area where you will enjoy touring with your guide. Once you return there is secure parking or taxis are available nearby if you would like to arrange transport.
