Climbing a mountain goes beyond walking, sweating and observing. Climbing a mountain It is thinking of one and a thousand things, seeing around and appreciating the environment. Thank and reflect. The relief of Guanacaste is composed of valleys, plains, mountain ranges, mountains and hills. That is why we began our adventure by visiting Cerro Pelado, This hike starts walking through some rough terrain and uphill to a little forest area and right before the dryer plains and along small hills, but be patient and you will discover the unique and spectacular views once at the top. You will treasure this experience for the rest of your life. The majestic scenario provided by Nature is completely unforgettable. Catching the sunset to one side and off in the distance, the Tilarán wind turbines; and at your back, green hills and plains that extend for what seems like an eternity. From then on, everything is magic.
Our second tour is very fun because you will know some mountains and jungles on ATV. Our experienced guides will take you on a true Costa Rican adventure through the winding jungle roads and back trails of Guanacaste's famous semi-tropical jungle-covered mountains along Costa Rica's Pacific Ocean coast. You can stop and see beautiful views from 1200' elevations. The mountain areas are teaming with wildlife and if you are lucky you might see all kinds of different birds, animals, and plant species. Drive and explore the small towns in and around the area, past cantaloupe farms and when, in season (August-October), we stop at a beautiful waterfall called “Las Pilas” (early winter, late winter). During the tour, we can also visit some very old farmhouses to see how rural Costa Ricans used to live.
Now is time to visit the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano National Park, enjoy a nature lover’s paradise, where you will view fascinating volcanic attractions like fumaroles, bubbling mud pots and boiling hot springs at the foothills of the active Rincón De La Vieja Volcano. Experience this wonderful scenery with tropical flowers, stunning trees and crystal clear streams while you hike for 2 hours through exciting trails, viewing some of the most stunning geology in Costa Rica.
