ARRIVAL & CHECK-IN

Your ATV & Original Zipline Combo begins at Congo Canopy in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Check in, meet your guides and get ready for approximately four hours combining an ATV adventure with our Original Canopy Zip-Line.
 

ATV EQUIPMENT & SAFETY BRIEFING

Your guides will provide the required ATV safety equipment, explain the ATV controls and review the safety procedures before you head onto the trails.

ATV drivers must be at least 16 years old, with passenger options available for eligible guests.
 

CHOOSE THE MOUNTAIN ATV ROUTE

Select the Mountain ATV Tour to explore forest and mountain trails through the Guanacaste countryside.

Experience changing terrain and small river crossings along the way. During Costa Rica's rainy season, the route may also include our seasonal waterfall, depending on rainfall and trail conditions.
 

OR CHOOSE THE BEACH ATV ROUTE

Select the Beach ATV Tour to follow backroads and coastal trails toward the Zapotal and Matapalo beach area.

Experience the changing scenery as you travel toward the Pacific and enjoy a short beach stop before continuing your ATV adventure.
 

RETURN & PREPARE FOR THE ORIGINAL CANOPY

After completing your ATV tour, return to Congo Canopy and prepare for the second half of your experience.

Your guides will fit you with the required zipline safety equipment and provide a complete safety briefing before you enter the Original Canopy course.
 

TAKE YOUR FIRST FLIGHT

Begin with an introductory cable designed to help you become comfortable with the equipment and the sensation of ziplining through the forest.

Professional guides accompany the group throughout the canopy experience.
 

JOURNEY THROUGH THE FOREST CANOPY

Travel from platform to platform across 11 zipline cables and 14 elevated platforms.

The different cable lengths give you changing perspectives of the surrounding tropical forest as you progress through the course.
 

CROSS THE HANGING BRIDGES

Travel across 3 suspended hanging bridges connecting different sections of the Original Canopy.

The bridges become part of the journey through the forest and provide another perspective between your zipline flights.
 

EXPERIENCE THE LONGEST FLIGHTS

As you progress through the canopy, reach heights of up to 30 meters and experience longer flights through the forest.

The longest cable extends approximately 400 meters.
 

COMPLETE YOUR ATV & ORIGINAL ZIPLINE ADVENTURE

Finish your approximately four-hour combo after experiencing Guanacaste in two completely different ways—from exploring its trails by ATV to traveling through the tropical forest canopy by zipline.

After your activities, relax in the visitor area. A snack shop and gift shop are available, and professional tour photos are available for purchase.
