Experience Guanacaste from the treetops and the trails with the Canopy Zip-Line & Horseback Riding Combo at Congo Canopy.

This approximately 4-hour adventure combines a guided canopy experience with a relaxing horseback ride through the mountain and forest surroundings of Guanacaste. Choose between the family-friendly Original Canopy Zip-Line or the adrenaline-packed Extreme Canopy Zip-Line, then slow the pace and explore the countryside on horseback.

Choose Your Zipline Adventure

Make the experience your own by choosing between two different canopy adventures.

The Original Canopy Zip-Line is Congo Canopy's classic forest experience, featuring 11 zipline cables, 14 elevated platforms and 3 hanging bridges. Reach heights of approximately 30 meters, with the longest zipline stretching approximately 400 meters through the forest.

The Original Canopy requires no previous ziplining experience and is suitable for participants ages 3+.

Or Take on the Extreme Canopy

Looking for more adrenaline? Choose the Extreme Canopy Zip-Line.

The Extreme experience features 3 long zipline cables approximately 450 meters or more, the Superman flying position, an approximately 22-meter rappel, and the Extreme Tarzan Swing from a platform more than 20 meters high.

The Extreme Canopy is recommended for participants ages 8+.

For both canopy options, the maximum pant/belt waist measurement for the zipline harness is 46 inches.

Explore Guanacaste on Horseback

After your canopy adventure, change the pace with a guided horseback ride through the mountain and forest surroundings of Guanacaste.

Enjoy a calm, scenic trail ride rather than a high-speed or galloping experience, making this portion suitable for beginners as well as experienced riders.

Children ages 3+ can participate, with younger children riding with a parent when appropriate. The maximum horseback riding weight is 200 lbs per rider.

Watch for Guanacaste Wildlife

As you travel through the forest and countryside, keep your eyes open for monkeys, tropical birds, butterflies, iguanas and other wildlife that may occasionally appear along the way.

Wildlife sightings are part of the natural experience and cannot be guaranteed.
