After arriving at Congo Canopy, meet your professional guides and prepare for the Original Canopy adventure.
Travel through the forest on 11 zipline cables connecting 14 elevated platforms, with 3 hanging bridges incorporated into the course.
The longest zipline is approximately 400 meters, with sections reaching approximately 30 meters above the forest floor.
Family-Friendly Costa Rica Ziplining
The Original Canopy is suitable for participants ages 3+, and no previous ziplining experience is required.
Your guides provide your harness, helmet and required safety equipment before giving you a complete safety briefing.
The maximum pant/belt waist measurement for the zipline harness is 46 inches.
Wildlife such as monkeys and tropical birds may occasionally be seen around the forest, although sightings cannot be guaranteed.

Once your zipline experience is complete, your included transportation takes you back to the RIU hotel area.

CROSS THE HANGING BRIDGES
Continue through the treetops and cross 3 hanging bridges incorporated into the Original Canopy course.
Enjoy changing perspectives of the surrounding tropical dry forest as you move between platforms.
EXPERIENCE THE LONGEST FLIGHTS
Progress to longer sections of the course, including a zipline approximately 400 meters long.
At the highest sections, experience the forest from approximately 30 meters above the ground.
COMPLETE THE ORIGINAL CANOPY
Finish your zipline adventure after completing the cables, platforms and hanging bridges of the Original Canopy.
RETURN TRANSPORTATION TO THE RIU HOTELS
