Orphaned baby monkeys are not always adopted by another family of monkeys, so when they are found they are brought here. They usually haven't developed the skills to survive in the wild so the Monkey Sanctuary becomes their permanent community. Here you will be able to visit a couple of different species of monkeys including the famous Howler Monkey. The Monkey Sanctuary rescues more than just monkeys. They rescue sheep, horses, and other animals. The Monkey Sanctuary is a certified sanctuary in Costa Rica.
