Experience Both Congo Canopy Zip-Line Courses in One Adventure
Why choose between the Original and Extreme Canopy Tours when you can experience both?
Begin by exploring Guanacaste’s tropical dry forest on the Original Canopy course. Fly between enormous trees, land on elevated platforms and cross suspended hanging bridges as your confidence grows with every cable.
Then take the adventure to another level on the Extreme Canopy. Fly Superman-style along three high-speed cables, descend toward the forest floor on a guided rappel and finish with the adrenaline-filled Extreme Tarzan Swing.
This approximately three-hour combination gives you the complete Congo Canopy experience—from scenic flights through the treetops to our most exciting aerial challenges.
Begin with the Original Canopy
The Original Canopy introduces you to zip-lining through a progressive course of 11 cables, 14 elevated platforms and three hanging bridges.
The cables range from approximately 50 to 400 meters. Some flights are short and playful, while others give you time to feel the wind and enjoy the sensation of gliding through the forest at heights of up to approximately 30 meters.
The Original course allows first-time participants to become comfortable with the equipment before continuing to the more intense Extreme adventure.
Take It to the Extreme
Once you have completed the Original Canopy, prepare for a completely different experience.
The Extreme Canopy features three longer, faster cables measuring approximately 280 to 450 meters. The Superman-style harness allows you to fly face-forward, creating the closest possible sensation to soaring above the forest.
The adventure continues with a guided rappel from approximately 22 meters above the forest floor.
Then comes the Extreme Tarzan Swing. Step from the elevated platform and experience an exhilarating drop before swinging through the open air.
The Complete Zip-Line Experience
This combination is designed for guests who want to experience everything Congo Canopy has to offer in one visit.
You will enjoy the variety, scenery and hanging bridges of the Original Canopy before progressing to the speed, height and special challenges of the Extreme course.
No previous zip-lining experience is required. Professional guides remain with you throughout both courses, explain each activity and check your equipment before every major section.
Wild monkeys, birds and other animals live freely in the surrounding forest. Wildlife sightings are possible but cannot be guaranteed.
